Contest Rules, Restrictions, and Requirements

 

OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF OHIO. ENTRANTS MUST BE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OLD AT TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with Facebook. Any information you provide is provided to Discount Drug Mart and not Facebook. This information will only be used for administering this contest and for marketing purposes in accordance with it.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

Contest open only to legal residents of the State of Ohio. Employees, officers and directors of Discount Drug Mart, Contest Sponsor, and their respective subsidiaries, promotion and advertising agencies, anyone involved in the Contest’ development or execution, and entities controlling, controlled by or under common control with, any of the above, the immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the household of any such employee, officer or director are not eligible. By taking part in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these Rules. Contest subject to all federal, state and local laws. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

 

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Contest entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. All federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the individual prize winners. By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, DDM and each of their respective subsidiaries, representatives, promotion, advertising and online technology agencies, prize suppliers, anyone associated the development or execution of this Contest, and entities controlling, controlled by or under common control with, any of the above, and each of their respective owners, principals, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives (the “Releasees”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest or acceptance, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize or parts thereof (including activity or travel related thereto), including, without limitation, liability for death, personal injury, damage or loss of any kind, and from liability to any other persons relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Contest. The Releasees do not make any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any government or authority. Sponsor reserves the right to modify this Contest in any way it deems necessary or appropriate. Entry constitutes permission for Sponsor, DDM and their respective designees to use winner’s name, likeness, performance, hometown and state for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

 

If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Should this Contest be terminated the Sponsor reserves the right to select the prize winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Releasees assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, or incomplete entries or mail, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Sponsor.

 

DATA COLLECTION:

Discount Drug Mart and Sponsor collect personal information from you when you enter the Contest. By entering Contest you agree to be added to Discount Drug Mart and Sponsor’s email lists for future marketing communications, not necessarily related to Contest. However, you are welcome to Unsubscribe at any point following receipt of said marketing email by following the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Participants agree that this Contest is governed solely by the laws of the United States. Any claims arising out of or relating to this Contest or any other Prize may be brought only in a federal or state court in Ohio. If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
